GOT Season 7 Theory: Arya Stark from Game Of Thrones Will Reunite With Nymeria

Arya Stark from Game of Thrones has some devilishly good luck. This is evident from her escape from King’s Landing, Harrenhal, the Brotherhood, etc. She might be “no one” at this point, but there are great chances that in Season 7 she will be reunited with her long-lost companion: her dire wolf Nymeria who hasn’t been seen since Season 1, is the last living Stark Direwolf aside from Ghost. Game of Thrones has pretty much been a dire wolf massacre.

  1. In the books, she has been dreaming about her wolf. In the books, she is running with her and watching the world through Nymeria’s eyes.
  2. The HBO series enlists local company Instinct Animals For Film for the show’s wolf “actors” and they posted photos on Instagram of their wolves performing around the same time Williams was there. This seems like a big hint for the viewers.
  3. The white wolf is Quigley, who plays Ghost on Game of Thrones. Arya Stark from Game of Thrones
  4. The other grayish black wolf is a new addition assumed to be Nymeria, who disappeared into the wilderness after being chased away by Arya. Otherwise, who could it be? Sansa’s wolf was executed in Season 1 as a punishment for attacking Joffrey, even though Nymeria did it. Arya forced Nymeria to run away to avoid this fate. She’s presumably been roaming the countryside ever since, waiting for her Stark to return home.Arya Stark from Game of Thrones
  5. Maisie Williams has been seen in Calgary, i.e. the location of those captivating (and green screen-assisted) dire wolf shots.
  6. In A Clash of Kings, there’s talk of a female dire wolf who leads a huge pack and has no fear of men.
  7. In A Storm of Swords, Arya sees a pack while on her march with Yoren and howls to them. The largest wolf howls back.
  8. In A Feast for Crows, Lannister knights report they were attacked by hundreds of wolves with a giant female leader who protects the Trident.
  9. In A Dance with Dragons, Ghost actually sees Nymeria in the wilderness singing to the moon. Arya’s dreams persist as well.
  10. There is a possibility that dragons will not be the only animals that are ridden into battle. There will be another who rides a fearsome beast into battle and is equally victorious.  I am talking about Arya riding on Nymeria’s back, leading their massive wolf pack into their own battles.
  11. Other than humans with dragon glass, we need something stronger to fight the wight walkers. It is possible that Bran’s wolf has been raised by the dead army. If there is a wolf among the dead, we need a counterpart on the living army.
  12. Poor Arya Stark from Game of Thrones has been alone for quite a long time. Now it’s probably time for her to reunite with her family and that includes Nymeria.
