For an amazing T.V show like FRIENDS with superb characters, it ‘s hard to choose your favorite. But with Ross Geller being present, it is certainly not difficult to pick your least favorite. Here are seven reasons that will make even the biggest FRIENDS fanatics realize that Ross from FRIENDS is in fact, the worst character on the show.
He Sees Rachel As Less Than Him
Ross and Rachel looked good together. Didn’t they? Yet, at many times he openly said many things that were not nice at all. Remember when Ross comes up with a series of things he doesn’t like in Rachel? ‘Spoiled, ditzy, too into her looks, just a waitress.’ JUST A WAITRESS!
“Ross: Rach, come on, look, I know how you must feel.
Rachel: (near tears) No, you don’t, Ross. Imagine the worst things you think about yourself. Now, how would you feel if the one person that you trusted the most in the world not only thinks them but actually uses them as reasons not to be with you.”
His Anger Management Issues
We all remember the sandwich incident that gotRoss from FRIENDS suspended from work. Although written in for comedic reasons, this outbreak tells us that Ross is way too impulsive and aggressive.
Ross from FRIENDS often tends to break out into a screaming fit, in a weird, screechy voice of his when he doesn’t get what he wants.
Ross From FRIENDS Is Sexist
Remember that time, when he got really mad when Rachel hired a male nanny? “That’s like a woman being a…” – luckily he doesn’t finish this sentence.
He Is Super Whiny
He is always unhappy. Ross from FRIENDS thinks the world is out there just to get him. He is so sad and hurt all the time. Just go back to that very first episode – “I feel like someone just reached down my throat, grabbed my small intestine, pulled it out of my mouth and tied it around my neck.” That is just way too dramatic. Don’t you hate people like that? He even
Don’t you hate people like that? He even bumps himself out and everyone else in the process.
He Doesn’t Respect Other People’s Opinions
When Phoebe said that she didn’t believe in evolution (Season 2, Episode 3), but instead of respecting her opinion, Ross from FRIENDS spent the entire day trying to convince her otherwise. He also blows up on Phoebe when she thinks a lost cat is really the spirit of her mother. That is when Phoebe said it best: “Even if I’m wrong, who cares? Just be a friend, OK?”
Moreover, he also blew up on Phoebe when she thought a lost cat was really the spirit of her mother. That is when Phoebe said it best: “Even if I’m wrong, who cares? Just be a friend, OK?”
He Said The Wrong Name At The Altar
Ross from FRIENDS had one job. Repeat after the minister and say, “I Ross, take thee, Emily.” It was apparently too hard for a man who claimed that he was in love with Emily.
He Constantly Corrects People’s Grammar
It becomes the icing on the cringeworthy cake that is Ross. Nobody likes people who continually point out flaws in everyone else. Ross from FRIENDS is always correcting people’s grammar… who, whom … sometimes it is WHO!
