Who Will Win Game Of Thrones: These Events In Today’s Episode Tell Us The Truth

Game Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 3 is about the split between winners and losers. Even Dany’s greatest triumph (taking Casterly Rock) seems hollow because she was basically set up to take it by the Lannisters. Meanwhile, Cersei gets rid of the Tyrells. Jaime comes to give to Olenna Tyrell a poison that he promises won’t be painful. After she guzzles the poisoned wine, Olenna confesses to Jaime that she was the one behind Joffrey’s murder and tells him to pass that news along to Cersei. I am glad that she got a lengthy parting scene. All the incidents raise the question, Who Will Win Game Of Thrones?

Cersei is making quick work of her opponents so far, and if Dany doesn’t start learning some lessons from all this losing quickly then who will win the game of thrones? All Daenerys does is hang out at Dragonstone and rants about how great she is. Perhaps her overconfidence is the reason why she is losing. While Dany’s been off freeing slaves and gathering her army, Cersei has been slowly steeping herself in her own bitter grievances, and she’s somehow become the greatest military strategist of all time.Uniting the two lead characters, Daenerys and Jon could have been too sweet had they been made best friends or even anticipations of romance had been sparked. It could have been too horrific if Daenerys had her dragons cook up Jon. But instead, a perfect balance was maintained. When Jon didn’t bend the knee, we got to hear one of the best speeches ever. Here is a highlight:

“I spent my life in foreign lands. So many men have tried to kill me, I don’t remember all their names. I have been sold like a broodmare. I’ve been chained and betrayed, raped, and defiled. Do you know what kept me standing through all those years in exile? Faith. Not in any gods, not in myths and legends. In myself. In Daenerys Targaryen.”

Davos tries to do the same for Jon, pointing out that he stood up for his people and even took a “knife to the heart” for them, but Jon stops him before he goes further.  It was a relief when Dany and Jon’s tense conversation was cut short when Varys entered the room. Later, Dany meets Jon to tell him he can mine dragon glass- Thanks to Tyrion, and she’ll provide the resources and men he’ll need. When he asks her if she believes his story about the White Walkers, she simply tells him, “You better get to work, Jon Snow.” Of course, that means she doesn’t believe him.

In the end, Dany made a huge mistake. “I am the last Targaryen,” Daenerys mistakenly proclaimed during their conversation in the throne room as it was revealed last season, Jon Snow is the son of Ned Stark’s sister Lyanna and her lover or captor Rhaegar Targaryen.

Euron’s GiftGame Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 3

When Euron finally reaches the throne room, he offers Ellaria and Tyene as his gift to Cersei, which he promised her in Season 7 Episode 1. In return, the Queen tells Euron he will have what his heart desires, that is, her hand in marriage, but only when the war is won. Cersei announces to her people that in their newly-formed alliance, Euron will lead the navy and Jaime will lead the armed forces. Cersei torments Ellaria with memories of Oberyn’s death and poisons Tyene with a kiss on the lips. It’s the same manner and poison Ellaria used to kill Myrcella.

Better was expected from TyrionGame Of Thrones Season 7 Episode 3

The Unsullied did take the Casterly rock, but this victory turned out to be pointless. Tyrion’s smarts are seriously in question. Remember when Tyrion defended King’s Landing against the invasion of Stannis at the Battle of the Blackwater? What happened to that Tyrion? How Did he not realize that Highgarden was perhaps the most prized location for Cersei to grab?

Jorah Is CuredGOT Fan Theory

Sam is a winner for having cured Jorah’s greyscale. But every time Sam does something good, he gets punished for it. Sure, he’s not kicked out of the Citadel, but he has to copy all those manuscripts. We can safely presume that there is something very important in those manuscripts. We’re seeing so much of Sam this season. It seems likely that he is going to uncover something important.
